I miss the absence of technology, especially when it comes to romance. And I miss the 90s vibe, where all was broken down to sharing a tape with your favorite artist, when drama wasn't easy to be broadcasted and for everyone to see, when love was more than just an e-mail in an inbox, or an emoji on your cell in the morning. I miss a world in which people met, touched, and smiled at each other, or simply didn't if that wasn't the case, no swipe right, no swipe left, just a phone bill your parents would have sent you to adoption for. When mystery was desirable. Well, everything except the Peter Andre song.
I miss a place where you could keep a secret just because that's decent to do, and that a last night to remember would stay between you and your friends, not an insta story for the public to see.
I miss the effort we used to put in getting to know someone, or find someone, to capture one scene. Effort. With decency. And intimacy.
We left a lot of things behind, but just imagine how it would be to just remember.

Through the Wise Wall Project we are documenting and painting life lessons of an abandoned ghost village called 'Saur' in rural Uttarakhand. This will be the first village of painted life lessons in the world.
