As an entertainer who happens to be Black, I am constantly asking myself is what I do aiding in the perpetuation of negative stereotypes that plague the Black community? So many people think we as a people have arrived because we have more Black millionaires, more homeowners, more "freedom" to do, when yet the sad truth is that we haven't. A wise man said " you can't rise above the condition of the people." Here, Michael K. Williams has that conversation with his characters he's played and makes for a remarkable and intriguing conversation. What do you think? Have Blacks come to a place in America where they have the same leverage as their White counterparts to play roles that show them in a bad light? Why or why not? Your opinion matters to me. Thanks

I’m proud of Adele for standing up for people who don’t always exercise courage to speak for themselves. And yes, she was right to say “Lemonade” empowered her Black friends. This world has trillions of symbols, people, media vehicles and more that empower White people, so the fact someone would recognize the impact an album had on HER friends is a matter of fact, not racism. Black people let’s be slow to call someone racist when their literally calling a spade a spade. Thank you, Adele. 44 ♡ 5 ✍
Okay y'all. I'm telling you now, I can't sing to save my life, and anyone who knows me knows I wish to God I could. I NEVER sing in front of people, but each year I embarrass myself and sing to my wife, because I want the world to know how much I love her. That's what live is: going out on a limb, stepping outside of your comfort zone to be in a different space with the one you love.
So, my sweet love, Stephanie, the world will know that this comedian will be vulnerable to laughter, ridicule and all for the smile you have on your face and heart. I love you just that much!

What a great event! Made new fans, and saw familiar ones who traveled hours away to laugh with us. I never take for granted the fact you spend your time and hard-earned dollars with us. Thanks to my friends and frat brothers, Cee-Jay Jones and Will Marfori. You two helped make my vision a reality, and I’m grateful. We got more coming, so get ready! Thanks to my wife. You’re a true blessing. Till next time: Keep Laffin’! 41 ♡ 6 ✍
