#NaPoWriMo: Day 28
I'd plant lanterns of little poems on the very ribs of our story, until you tell me it's anything but a carcass.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••I remember one of my English professors posing the question: do you believe in soulmates. There were quiet mutters in the class, until someone raised her hand and said yes. The professor then asked if she'd met hers, and she said yes, she was engaged to him. I don't know what brought upon me thinking of it again- maybe it's simply that I'm full of love. To me, a soulmate implies both inevitably and destiny. From birth, the person you'll be with will be who you end up with. This is a romantic and beautiful thought, but I began to think on the opposite spectrum. Isn't there beauty in finding someone, and both choosing each other? The feeling of love may be uncontrollable, attraction may be up to your body, but isn't their something breathtaking in the idea that two people care about each other so endlessly that they make the choice to put effort into each other- every single day? Which do you believe is more beautiful? Do you think the two can meander? I'm in love, and I'll never be the same. PS: you know I love you so much. you are love. 💙💜
