@Lallo25 is a charlatan of #fashion. I never liked his creative hold up on @Gucci. Mind you it might sell, get the hype going but let’s not kid ourselves here. “I’m trying to translate fashion in a playground that is about the contemporary population » says #AlessandroMichele for his #GucciSS18. Noble when you have a starting point of your own. Not the @Kenzo one with a zest of sequinned à outrance #HefiSlimane other with a dash of demi-couture from #Rochas meets #Valentino and so on. He borrows. He blends. He call it creation. I am frankly tired of the glorification of #Michele’s 70s Rock Star mode d’élite, not de rue. He sells today. He is the winner. Not the fashion. Nothing is contemporary about the population he adresses. It’s for the Asian markets of millennials. Nothing is aesthetically original about his pursuits, that today in Milan are taking this new direction into the intellectualization of concepts and history for the only end purpose to use them a blason, coat of accessoires for his creativity not for to be really embracing them. It may be for you Gucci lovers (and you will treat me as a hater, and ignorant) but I am writing up for a silent majority, women and men, who are finding this mélanges des genres very mundane wannabe-y à tout prix. Claude Lelouch is about real hypnotism don’t drag him into your mess. Claude Lelouch will not do a little bit of Ingmar Bergman, a little of Antonioni and a dash of Kurosawa then shoved down our eyes. Claude Lelouch still knocks the mighty from the iPhone cinematic throne and elevates the humble population with his aesthetics. But Mr Michele is in my purview a tremendous gifted .. nightclub costumier with important money and marketing means behind him but I do not believe the contemporary population he addresses live or aspire to live in a VR/AR dancefloor. They aspire to be hipped not hyped. Sales, successful ones, are not the only meters to the legacy of a glorious house like the house of #Gucci. Don’t forgive me, I am just a pamphlétaire dans la Maison de L’Amour. Probably with a bad taste too. #Guccify me not.
