This is an Oreo Brownie 🤳🏻. I found it in a Tennessee gas station and almost ate it right there in the aisle ⛽️. It looked aesthetic af, all drizzly on top with a cream center. Sadly (but not too sadly), it just tasted like a Little Debbie. Maybe less delicious actually 😭 but Little Debbies are like super frickin good so this was still bash-able 🕺🏼. Visually 10/10, but actually 6/10 🍫 35 ♡ 1 ✍
If I could only give one piece of advice to people staring out on a fitness journey or starting out on a healthy lifestyle, it would be to make sure you're happy. Of course, when you're in a fat loss phase, there will be times when you struggle and find it tough but I do think that you should enjoy it the majority of the time🤷🏽♀️
Personally, I love food and I need to enjoy it👌 I can't even imagine eating plain, cold chicken and broccoli day in day out 🙅🏽
Your food doesn't have to to boring and unenjoyable to be healthy- play around with it, use different seasonings for example.
For lunch tomorrow, I've prepped a paprika chicken breast 🍗 with fresh baby spinach 🍃 red peppers🌶 honey roasted carrot sticks 🥕 and tricolour quinoa 👌
Top tip to making your quinoa taste better? Use a stock cube in the water you cook it in, it adds so much flavour to the quinoa 🙌 I also used the same water that I boiled my sweet potato in🍠 This means that you don't lose out on the water soluble vitamins, such as vitamin C, that are leached into the water when you boil veg☺️

September 2015 to August 2017 – about 6 months post-partum in both pictures 😏 #foreverpregnant. Let’s talk abs for a minute… Recently, I read a post that stated having visible abs is unrealistic unless you’re sitting at “around 6% body fat” 🤔 which is absolutely insane – do you know how lean 6% body fat is?! I’ve never had that low of body fat my life, nor will I ever. In the left pic, I’m probably about 20-22% body fat. In the right pic, I’m probably about 18% body fat 💯. So why are my abs visible and why are they so much more visible in the right pic? There are a few reasons: ☝️I don’t hold as much fat on my abdomen as I do elsewhere; people hold fat in different areas, and that area depends on your genetics. Fat cannot be targeted. #louderforthepeopleintheback
✌I have built up my abs. In order to have visible abs, you have to have grow and strengthen your ab muscles which (for most people) takes isolated ab work.
👌I eat cleaner now than I did two years ago, leaving me less bloated and leaner overall.
It’s taken me years of trial and error to find a routine that works for me. I know what kind of foods make me bloated 🧀🍔, and I know what kind of foods keep my feeling lean🍇🥑🌮 (lol jk on the tacos but thatd be cool). I know what kind of workouts are the most effective for ME to help my body lean out vs bulk. But it wasn’t always that way. The picture on the left is a good example of not knowing what direction to head. I had recently had my first baby, wanted to keep my calories up in order to maintain a good milk supply, and was attempting to both put on muscle and lean out at the same time ( 12 ♡ 3 ✍

The Florida native in me has been DYING for good fish in landlocked Utah. Today we scoped out @slapfish 🐟 and it was SO good! Here's to hoping that @cannonball_coming doesn't mind that it'll become a staple in our diets 🙃
Wondering how to count macros when you go somewhere that the nutritional information isn't listed? My #1 tip is to track, weigh, and measure at home. When you're more familiar with what a 4oz serving of fish looks like or how long your tortilla is, it's a lot easier to recognize it in public!
Looking at my plate I can easily estimate 4oz. of Mahi Mahi, an 8in. flour tortilla, 1 cup cabbage, and 1/4 cup pickled onions. I also can see that there's some kind of mayo dressing on top that isn't 🙅🏼 calorie free! It's safe to assume that my fish was grilled in some kind of oil so I'll log that too! I recommend looking at the menu to make sure you don't miss any ingredients and OVERESTIMATING when you log. Use common sense and be honest with yourself!
