From my freshman year in college to now (senior year in college) I have transformed from skinny to muscular to 25 lbs over weight to little muscle and 5 lbs lighter. My fitness journey has been a roller coaster to say the least. >>>I started working out and going to the gym when I was around 14. My mom and dad were super into an active lifestyle, all of us kids were enrolled in every sport and we were always on the go. At age 14 was when I decided to join my mom at 24 Hour Fitness. From there I learned how to eat a little healthier, and how to get my cardio workouts in on the stair master. I slowly learned how to lift weights around my senior year in high school, but I didn't pay attention to my eating so I just got super skinny. I was burning a lot of calories and not eating enough.
Throughout my first two years in college I got two online trainers and figured out how to count my calories and macros (proteins, fats, carbs) and I gained a lot of muscle. But I also gained a lot of weight. I went from 128lbs-145lbs. I was eating healthy but also snacking a lot on the sides. I thought I had balance but I was eating too much healthy stuff on top of sugary treats 🙈😍.
I did end up getting a coach online who helped me lean out (I was planning on doing a bikini show) and lose about 2 lbs in 3 months of training, but then my dad passed away suddenly.
I threw away any kind of fitness eating and tracking and working out and kind of went through a depressive state. I first blew up and then I just lost almost all of my muscle and 5 lbs of weight.
That is where I am today. I am not unhappy with my body and I never have been. I've always been a very confident person and very confident in the fact that I have control over my body if I really want to change it.
But, I am thinner today without a ton of muscle and my dream one day is to do a bikini show.
I've always dreamed of being a fitness star, a bikini pro, and someday an owner of my own fitness clothing brand.
Starting Monday I am beginning a 10 Week Shred Challenge with @sassybrunettefitness and I am going to gain some muscle back and lean out in preparation for my first bikini show !!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙈🎊🎊😋😋😋 59 ♡ 12 ✍
Breakfast (believe it or not) was tuna on Ezekiel toast. I was tired of the same old stuff and wanted to try something new. This was light and delicious and loaded with protein. I try to get my protein in with every meal I eat. This was delicious and perfect fuel for my kickboxing class. 💯💪🐟 33 ♡ 5 ✍
