Is it possible to drink alcohol and still lose weight? The answer is…it depends. There’s a few factors that play into the body’s ability to be able to burn fat while consuming alcohol. Alcohol contains calories just like most of your foods do and those calories matter just like they do with your food.
If you are going to drink alcohol do not drink it often and when you do keep it in moderation. The more you drink the harder it becomes for the body to burn fat and the longer results are going to take. 2-3 drinks are my suggested limit.
If you know you’re going to be drinking in the evening watch food intake during the day. Maybe cut back on a couple of meals, eliminate SOME carbs, or try fasting a little to make up for those calories you’ll be taking in when drinking.
Stay away from mixed drinks and go with the drier alcohols such vodka, a glass of wine, or tequila. If you’re going to have a mixed drink choose diet soda over regular. If your drink has four or five different things in it…it’s too much!
Stay in control. The more alcohol you drink the less control and will power you have. Lack of will power can lead to bad food consumption which can lead to unwanted weight gain.
Alcohol is not bad to have and should be had. It’s all about putting the right tools in place to set you up for success.

You thought these were implants?! For many of my weight loss patients, you have all the right tissue, but it's in all the wrong places. I use this excess tissue to deconstruct and reshape and reshape your breast tissue to look like an internal breast implant and then I redrape the breast skin (see lower left picture) This provides a natural, full breast without the need for implants. 2 ♡ 1 ✍
