My thought of the day ~ writing is putting feelings and thoughts down on paper, it's a heart mind and soul shaper, sometimes things don't always make a hell of a lot of sense in ones head, so it's better to brainstorm and figure it out through forms of art instead, I personally find creating poetry therapeutic, and when you learn to write from the heart there's nothing to it, it's about choosing a subject or topic, and then using your tenderness imagination and or brain to try and dissect it, it encourages your mind to remain somewhat calm but still active, it teaches me how to process things better and to be less reactive, I think that in life at some point we all get stressed confused or anxious, and that's why it's important to explore our subconscious, because the things that we care about are our calling, and to talk about them or express them both openly and wholeheartedly can prove inspiring, so that's what I try my best to do every day, and it's all the more worthwhile if I can help others whilst doing so in any possible way 🙏❤️ #dailywriting#lifeinspiring#selfexpressing#heartmindandsoulhealing ⚓️😌 0 ♡ 0 ✍

An actual #kiss, a young boy complaining that his grandpa is reading him 'a kissing book', or an archer is practicing shooting and accidentally hits an ally who then complains for an hour, the archer defensively says 'it barely kissed you!' while the arrow is still sticking out of his arm. #wordprompt21 ♡ 1 ✍
Does doing what I want usually work out for the best?
Yes. Well... in a way.
When I was a junior in high school, I called a family meeting in the den on the first floor of my parents' suburban home. My mother wiped the kitchen counters, and my dad sat on the couch drinking a beer while they waited for me to descend the steps and begin. Now, I wasn't in the habit of calling these little get-togethers, but when I did, it was big, and my parents had learned this by then; so, understandably, they were a bit nervous. I came down the steps, entered the kitchen and walked to the adjacent den - half exhilarated, half scared out of my shorts about what I was going to say.
I looked from at my father... then my mother, and said "I'm going out of state for college." My parents were not shocked by this statement: they'd heard this before - or at least they'd heard me express I wanted to go put of state before. But by then they'd had time to consider all the problems with my with what I was proposing.
They proceeded - thinking I was asking for permission - to state every issue they could muster: cost, safety, cost, loans, cheaper, lonely, etc - you know, the usual reasons parents would want their youngest child to stay in the vicinity for college.
Thing is they were wasting their time. When I made that statement, I was not asking. I was not looking for advice. I was telling them what was GOING to happen.
I listened to them for nearly an hour before I replied
"I'm going. Whether you help me or not, I'm going." At that moment, they KNEW there was no more to discuss.
So one year later my bags were packed into my mother's Nissan, and the three of us drove to Philadelphia. For five years I attended Temple University And I should not have. --- Read the rest in my profile link 👉😁 25 ♡ 1 ✍
